Federal Bonding Program
The Federal Bonding Program protects employers against employee acts of dishonesty in the first 6 months of employment.
Each qualifying hire can be bonded $5,000-$25,000 with $0 deductible and the bond can be renewed after the first 6 months. This program allows you to give employees a chance without fear. To learn more and sign up, go to https://esd.wa.gov/about-employees/federal-bonding.
Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC)
WOTC is a federal tax credit for employers who hire qualifying job seekers. The goal is to reward employers by reducing their federal business taxes by $2,400-$9,600 for hiring qualifying job seekers.
